People who live in a small house or an apartment can have trouble finding places to put their food storage so their place doesn't look like an overstocked food bank warehouse all the time. The last thing someone wants to see is a stack of five or six gallon buckets behind the living room door! That might lead your guests to asking some rather sensitive questions. There are various ways of getting around this: --- CONTINUED at LINK, above ---

i live a 1100 sq foot home.so i've had to get at least somewhat creative on storage n all..i had to replace the light over the kitchen sink.so i built a shelf there.it's not only good for the underneath fluorescent light.but great for storage as well.got a factory made 2 door free standing cabinet and a set of home built shelves that i built for store bought canned and dry foods..have some under the bed totes for extra storage.in which one is full of different size candles.just remembered another free standing cabinet.it has a small amount of food in it..everything else is canning supplies..

there's one thing i haven't started doing yet..the milk crates that hold 4-1 gallon milk/water jugs.they stack easily enough..they'll be kept in one corner of my bedroom once i start buying them..

How To Store Six Months of Food When You Only Have Space for One
http://www.askaprepper.com/store-six-months-food-space-one/

Space may seem like one of the biggest barriers to your food storage goals, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be. Whether you live in an apartment, a small house, or even a camper, there are plenty of ways you can squeeze in more food storage so that your family can be prepared if worse comes to worst. ---CONTINUED at LINK, above ---
