Hat Tip to 'Rick1', over at EHP-Discussion site:

Here's instructions on how to make your own shoes. I realize that almost everybody will not have the materials, so you'll have to improvise. Like the materials to form your feet, you'll have to use mad or clay, etc.. Seems a little complicated to me. I keep my old shoes, even if they are well worn, I store them in the crawl space above the garage.

Make Your Own Shoes at Home!
https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Your-Own-Shoes-at-Home/

This is an instructable for making your own pair of shoes with materials you can buy in an art store or a fabric store. I base my technique off of traditional shoe making methods, but you won't need expensive materials, a nice set up, or complex tools.

This method will also create perfectly fitting shoes as the pattern will be drawn from your own feet!

The total cost of this project is less than $50 and, will take under 20 hours. ---CONTINUED---

How to Make The Coolest Wool Boots Ever, Easily
https://www.askaprepper.com/make-coolest-wool-boots-ever-easily/

It’s really easy, so I wanted to share it with folks here.

(SNIP) ... First I got an old wool sweater from the Thrift store… Cut off the sleeves, and checked to see how it fit on my foot. Nice and snug. Then I had some foam I got for free at a garage sale and I cut it into two pieces with my band saw… (scissors would work.) ---CONTINUED---

Post a new topic Mocassins-jpg (SNIP) ... The three-piece moccasin shown here is based on an Apache design. Make separate patterns for each foot—right and left foot sizes are rarely the same—and baste the patterns together so that you can try them ---CONTINUED---
