Canning Websites & Forums for Info & Recipes

A great alternate to getting stocked on 'fresh' foods. Lots of information out there on this process. You need the proper equipment, enough time set aside for the process, a clean workspace and your fresh ingredients to get a well stocked pantry that will last for years.

Preserving the Harvest

Outstanding site for learning more about the Home-Canning process. There's a lot more on this site than just the 'Canning' thread .... Highly recommend this site!

Backwoods Home magazine
http://www.backwoodshome.com

To really get a lot of good info on canning, Backwoods Home magazine as well as Countryside magazine are great. http://www.backwoodshome.com also has Ask Jackie columns which are by the resident canning guru.
