Because of the stove posted above, the old Coleman white gas stoves have become useless to most people. You almost can't go to a garage sale or the flea market without seeing many for sale.

I tired of the mini-propane canisters, and now, especially their price. We have picked up 4 white gas stoves, all for under ten bucks. One was virtually new, still had the box, and I got it for 8 bucks. A gallon of fuel at Wally World is about 7 bucks, and will last forever, won't hardly blow up, and basically doesn't degrade. Although I admit I bought a new multi fuel Coleman so I can run it on unleaded gas if needed.

Parts are also still available. The only two things you need are a plunger/pump, and a carburetor. Both also available at Wally world or online. (Note: The pumps really don't break, the leather gasket dries out and you can't build pressure in the tank. Wipe with oil, most any non-caustic oil, wait an hour or so, and ur pump is fixed.)

With 4 of these stoves and seven gallons of fuel, I'll be able to cook for a looooong time. Of course I have the BBQs and propane tanks, and also a hose that attaches to the tank AND my Coleman propane stove, I just thought it was important for folks to snatch up the alternative Coleman. 60 or 70 bucks will buy you a lot of warm meals when the hackers take out our electrical grid.

My New Coleman Propane Camp Stove & Actual Testing
https://livingprepared.blogspot.com/search/label/Camp%20Stove%20-%20New%20Propane%20Coleman

I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a new Coleman propane stove because it has 10,000btu burners where I believe the old Sears stove had much lower btu burners. The extra btu's now to heat my Coleman fold-up oven much hotter, from barely 300f up to 400f+ degrees needed for all the baking I do in it, like bread, dinner rolls, pizza, etc. Coleman’s new burner design and the regulator is noticeably better, uses less propane and produce much more uniform heat throughout the cooking cycle.
